Trixie has been awarded the LASSIE AWARD tonight for her meritorious barking in the dining room to alert me that Timmys in the well. Of course, the well in this case was the front bedroom where Wayne and Abigail, supreme opener of all windows (and revered throughout for this deed) didnt know her own strength and somehow engaged the door to not only close but stay closed. All those layers of paint werent sticking, however, the actual knob had engaged, but soon loosened. Crisis averted, dog celebrated. The celebrated pup now sleeps at ease, stretched out against my leg with her head on my knee. Job well done, Trixie! (Unka Joseph and Jolene will be proud!)
