Trolling can be a true art and it really doesnt need to be directed towards anyone or used to insult. It certainly can be and thats called flaming especially if attacking someone is what you are doing. When someone asks what trolling is I point them towards jesters like The Onion where they make outrageous but believable stories as fake news. Directly insulting people to hurt them is just mean and lazy. If you are at all going to poke fun at a person with real trolling you use the other persons words or logic against them. This works great against those who are prejudice. It allows them to see the error of their ways but seeing through their own eyes what they have done wrong. Shane I believe is focusing more on cyber bullying and lumping in those who claim to troll. Trolling aint easy to pull off correctly and few do.
