Trooper Pawprint is just a Shiny and looks up to his Company Commander Captain War Dog. its no wonder, the Troopers of Timber Wolf Company have made a name for themselves aboard the Resolute. When General Skywalker or Captain Rex decide to take the 501st hounds off their leash. Those Clankers are in for a world of hurt. War Dog looks at Pawprint and recalls himself back in the day when he hung on Rexs every word. True War Dogs temper had often gotten him into a lot of trouble. But Pawprint doesnt have that issue, he just wants to learn from his Company Commander. Unfortunately protesters of the war and anti-Jedi and clone sentiment put the rookie Trooper in the middle of a firestorm of controversy. For now the clone sits in the brig under interrogation by his own Battalion CO Captain Rex and Clone Marshall Cody. War Dog is out of his element, he was bred to fight battle droids. The very people he was bred to protect are out for vengeance. The protesters want nothing more then sift justice and the clone to be found guilty. Rex and Cody want to find some evidence to support PawPrints claims of a struggle. Even with War Dog wanting to help Rex and Cody know it would look like favoritism to involve War Dog in anyway with their investigation. Chancellor Palpatine pressuring the Jedi as more and more protests occur at the Temple. Clones are expendable after-all and by giving up Pawprint to the crowd the situation might just resolve itself. The Jedi want only a fair trail for the Trooper, their very reputation is already tarnished because of the war. The situation is only making matters worse for them. What will happen to Pawprint? Will Cody and Rex find some evidence to prove the protesters wrong? Will War Dog stand by his Trooper or distance himself for the good of the battalions reputation? or Will the protesters seek their own form of Justice and use this as a rallying cry against both the Jedi and Clones alike.
