Trooper has been like a whole new cat these past few days. His skin has almost completely cleared up and he is acting like a playful pouncing kitten again. He has been very loving and friendly, chatting up a storm and bounding across the yard and playing, Even chasing his sister Bandit around. He is jumping on us and giving us head bumpies & lovies and churrling and trilling. Its pawsome! We almost dont know what to do with him he is such a handful today. He is back up in bed and sleeping with us again. He is just so happy to be feeling better, thanks to all of you who helped make this possible with his care and medical treatment. Its gonna stink when the injections wear off and his skin starts to deteriorate, but I cannot keep subjecting him to repeated shots of antibiotics and steroids for fear of long-term complications. For now we are living in the moment and enjoying our bouncing baby boy! I will ask the vet about possible acupuncture or homeopathic long-term solutions on our next visit in 2 weeks.
