Tropical Cyclone Warning: Tropical Depression “#AgatonPH” Issued At 5:00 PM, 17 January 2014 (Valid for broadcast until the next bulletin to be issued at 11 PM today) Tropical Depression “agaton” has remain almost stationary and is now moving towards Surigao Provinces. Location of eye/center: At 4:00 PM today, the center of Tropical Depression “AGATON” was estimated based on all available data at 165 km Northeast of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur or 190 km East of Surigao City (9.6°N, 127.2°E). Strength: Maximum winds of 55 kph near the center. Movement: Forecast to move West at 5kph. Forecast Position: Tropical Depression “AGATON” is expected to be at 80 km North of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur or 75 km East of Butuan City tomorrow afternoon. By Sunday afternoon, it will be at 50 km Southeast of Malaybalay, Bukidnon or 75 km Northwest of Davao City and at 130 km West of General Santos City by Monday afternoon.
