Tropical Storm Dorian 8am update TS Dorian strengthened slightly last night and is now located approx. 700 miles west of the Cape Verde Islands with max sustained winds of 60 mph. Pressure is holding steady at 999 mb as the system moves WNW at 17 mph. Forecasters are expecting little change in intensity over the next couple of days but they are predicting a gradual turn to the west over the next couple of days. You EOC staff remain in monitoring mode. Enjoy today as it is expected to be a dry day today!
