Troubling: There are a whole lot of Guyanese organizations in the Diaspora; especially here in NY. The not for profits, and those for profits……… Most are well intended, others are not…..Most honor their missions, and others don’t! Nonetheless, it is the infighting in most of these organizations that is most troubling; why & to what end? If you are not satisfied with the leadership; voice your dissatisfactions & if no change, vote them out! The theory of label is definitely not the solution….It is dividing us when we should find consensus for the good of all involved….Otherwise, we are wasting time & defeating the purpose or goals of the organization….then what’s the use?
