Truck Driver / Business Partner & Advisor - Expression of Interest Join a newly emerging transport business from the ground floor as it embarks on a journey to become one of QLDs most innovative and professional logistic businesses. We are seeking suitably qualified people to become part of the business partnership so that we can build this business together. You will be there from day 1, advising the committee on startup planning, the building phase as we invest and at the reward stage as we share the success of growth. Initial areas of interest are Gladstone, Mackay, Moranbah & Townsville 1 position available for each area = 4 Timing is immediate The opportunity; As a general transport business we will be looking to deploy drivers with tilt tray & low loader vehicles into key areas where we have an established market starting point. The committee has done the hard yards in terms of analysis and planning and are now ready to advance to the next phase and for this we need you; An experienced driver that can assist us to navigate our way through vehicle set up, vehicle compliance, deployment, operating costs & training. The positions; This is no ordinary transport business unit that is tacked onto another business; we are very focused on key customer partnerships where you could be wearing our customer’s uniforms or driving vehicles with customer branding so your ability to meet our customer’s standards is the number one driver. These positions are a great opportunity for enthusiastic and highly ambitious individuals who are able to work autonomously and control their own destiny. Fundamentally you will be required to; Advise on startup plans - vehicle set up, compliance, deployment, operating costs & training Implement startup plans - vehicle setup, compliance Implement readiness plans - undertake inductions & medicals / participate in our safety & training modules Operate the business – transport equipment to/from our customers facilities and various work sites in your area Operate the business – actively promote our safety culture Operate the business – complete all administration & paperwork associated with daily deliveries / collections Residentially you will be based in your respective area (Gladstone, Mackay, Moranbah or Townsville) working a 5 day week with call out service required for Saturday & Sunday Requirements for this role Awareness & regard for safety programs HC / HR License Forklift License Ability to schedule multiple jobs in a time efficient manner Ability to complete paperwork accurately Familiarization of major plant & equipment – EWPs, compaction rollers, tele-handlers etc Knowledge of transport regulations & load management guidelines High degree of knowledge of heavy vehicles – applications, standards, capabilities , operating costs, repairs & maintenance requirements Ability to pass mining & heavy industrial medical requirements (Current inductions/medicals would be advantageous) To apply call Darryl on 0498 696 283 or email CV to futurelogistics@gmail
