True Christianity involves deliverance. The only way we can know a Christian is by a transformed life. And so for us to assess who is a believer, we have to look and see if that person has been delivered. Transformed life is see from being moved from the former conduct of dead works of the flesh and into a holy life. Those who were robbers before and found to still no more but work with their own hands. Patient is the heart of a Christian who has been delivered. When we talk about conversion and when we talk about regeneration, when we talk about new birth, being born again, new life, transformation, when we talk about these matters of grace we are really talking about being delivered from certain things. If you are not delivered the potential that you have been given by God will not be seen in your life unless you are delivered and you will also continue in sin. Deliverance set you to your right mind and helps you to act in the word of God and walk with God according to His will. So many people today find the devil controlling their lives and leading them to disaster all because they are not delivered and therefore are still walking in the flesh. Romans 8:5-6 New Living Translation (NLT) 5 Those who are dominated by the sinful nature think about sinful things, but those who are controlled by the Holy Spirit think about things that please the Spirit. 6 So letting your sinful nature control your mind leads to death. But letting the Spirit control your mind leads to life and peace.
