One Champions Trophy win and some decent matches made most people forgot those two loses. And now people are abusing Yuvi like anything. He played the worst innings in his career, lost India the WC, agreed. But that doesnt give anyone the license to do this.. The man himself won India 3 WCs, being the dominant performer. I am not counting the first two. The third one - despite throwing up constantly during the matches, he gave his all and won India the WC.. I would like to quote something his father said here.. With Yuvi, before the World Cup it [cancer] was detected and I knew that because he was vomiting blood. I told him we should get a check-up, because his grandpa went through the same thing. But he didn’t listen to me, because he heeded his mother’s advice. Then, he was selected to the World Cup team, and I told him to skip it. That time, the cancer was very small, like a marble.
