True Incident: Rajnikanth, Mani Ratnam & Santhosh Sivan in Thalapathi. Once on the sets of Thalapathi - Mani Ratnam & Santhosh Sivan planned for a sunrise shoot with Rajnikanth, somehow he came late on that day, so they went ahead and shot some shots without him and informed they will shoot with him again on the next day, Mani Ratnam & team went next day at 4.30 a.m, there was a man wrapped up in a blanket lying on the bench at the place, it was none other than Rajnikanth, he was there before everyone, so that he shouldnt be missing the scene again.
