True Intentions is a Reggae Band that originated in the Caribbean island, Anguilla with roots in Dominica. They are a versatile group, capable of mixing the old with the new to form their unique sound. Their musical influence spans various genres including Jazz, R&B, Soca Reggae, Rock and Bouyon. They find inspiration in performing artist like Bob Marley, Third World, Sting, Jimmy Hendrix and Michael Jackson to name a few. Darius James (Band leader,Vocals, Drums), Dennis Warrington (Vocals, Keyboard) and Jonathan Warrington (Bass) were young musicians who played in a well known local gospel band called Genesis in their homeland, Dominica. Darius and Jonathan later relocated to Anguilla and were the founding members of another popular local band. In January 2011 they both decided to spread their wings and established True Intentions. Dennis joined the duo shortly after and the band hit the local musical scene in Anguilla and the neighboring islands, booking weddings, private parties and musical festivals such as Moonsplash. In September 2013, Feliciano James (Guitar) of Anguilla and Darion James (Vocals,Guitar,Drums and Bass) of Dominican who resides in the USA became the latest addition to the band. True Intentions is on the verge of Great things. They are currently working on their sophomore album which is highly anticipated and expected to be a jaw dropper.
