True Love and Bad Feet I was going to wait until Thanksgiving, but I couldnt! My niece Allison had my first great nephew on Wednesday, and I had to take a drive to NC. Best decision ever! Many sweet memorable moments occurred in that short 24 hours . . .one, I went for a pedicure with my Dad! Yes, my Dad! Pedicures for my dad and I are not just a special luxury treat, but a necessity! We have bad feet . . .Ill leave it at that! While we were there, he shared something I never knew. He said, Sometimes I tell your mom to sit on the bar in the kitchen, and I paint her toenails for her. She has bad feet too! You might have to know Daddy to truly appreciate this act of service . . .hes a big man, a mans man, a farmer at the core . . and theyre 70 years old. Its hard to picture, but not surprising. Thats how they are - its about the love; its about service; its about honor . . . and its about bad feet. I Corinthians 13: 4-5 Love is patient, love is kind . . .it is not self-seeking . . .it keeps no record of wrong . . .
