True Story -- Ive been dog sitting a few of my friends dogs while they have been out of town, but one friend has 5 cats, 4 kittens, 2 dogs (Dax --- who is VERY WILD), 2 hamsters, 1 turtle, 1 crab (and a partridge in a pear tree). Needless to say, I have asthma and this many cats trigger it. I went over there at 6 this morning to feed them & this is what happened. I opened the front door & Julie (yes, Julie -- one of the calm dogs ran out the front door). I went to the back of the house to let Dax out because he was jumping everywhere and running after the cats and knocking things over. He went out the back door after knocking over the Christmas tree and 5 cats were flying thru the air from on top of cabinets, piano & fridge to avoid him and me. One black cat landed across my head out of nowhere (OUCH). I proceeded to kitchen to feed them and slipped on some pee on the floor. Dax thought that was a good time to run back into the house and jump on me -- with mud and dog poo all over him, of course. I got up to fill their bowl of water and cautiously place it on the floor, but not before Dax saw me and jumped on me! The large bowl of water ended up all over me and him. I had forgotten about Julie running loose outside so went out to find her & calling her name (which was weird that I was calling MY name)! I couldnt find her so went to get her leash. Went inside to get leash but not before Dax ran out the front door too. By this time, I could barely breathe!!! The wind decided to blow at that time and blew the front door open while I was out and yes, the cats got loose! I think it was because the back door was also open. Here I am in the rain trying to find 7 animals in a strange neighborhood. After 1 1/2 hours, I got them all home. Drove myself to the ER and received a breathing treatment and doctor said I was blue and had almost died from my asthma. I forgot all about the gopher and crab, but they are on their own! I never did see the crab the whole time I went over there anyway! I called their owners and said I was never going back to that house again! Too many flying and jumping animals! Can you say, ANIMAL HOUSE??!!! LOL And I LOVE ANIMALS, but that house is cray cray!!! Have a great day everyone!
