True Story: Before Bridge of Hope Worship Center relocated from Bossier City, Louisiana across the Red River to Shreveport, Louisiana, The Queensborough Community in Shreveport had become the murder and violent crime headquarters for Shreveport. I must say I was apprehensive initially moving to the epicenter of violent crime in Shreveport, but when God says move, then makes a way to do so..... Since we moved across the river to this community, murder is very rare and violent crime is way down. I dont recall the last murder, and it used to be an everyday or every week occurrence. Pray warriors can make a difference if we just pray. There are many, many good churches and great pastors, so we arent alone, but before we moved here, crime was getting out of hand. The city has done a great job too stepping up patrols, but the increased patrols werent denting the killings. What changed? PRAYER, PRAYER, AND MORE PRAYER You dont have to take my word for it, check Shreveport Crime statistics and specifically for Queensborough for 2010, 2011 and after June 2012 when we moved to this community. God is awesome and Hes looking for someone to be His mouthpiece and His arms and legs in the earth. The building we are in has long been a house of prayer and den for prayer warriors. We are just keeping it going. When sin does abound, grace did more abound. My plan is to love everybody in this community and get seniors out of their homes and enjoying their porches and yards during the mild spring and fall months. I cant, but God..... Will you allow God to use you? Many of you have similar testimonies. You are doing a tremendous work for the Kingdom in your neighborhood and communities. To God be the Glory forever and ever amen!!!
