True Story: actor Sir Alec Guinness, known to moviegoers my age and younger as Obi-Wan Kenobi in the original Star Wars films, hated being identified as such. So much so, that he refused to do any promotional appearances for the movies and even threw away any Star Wars fanmail without reading it! However, George Lucas, Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, and Carrie Fisher all spoke highly of his professionalism and courtesy on and off set, and how he inspired them to do their best. For his role as Kenobi Guinness was nominated for an Oscar and a Golden Globe Award, The royalties from the movie made him a wealthy man, living debt-free until his death in 2000. The point? As we begin our daily trudge to a job we may not like remember this: do your best...be your best... because its in your character. And it will pay off in the long run. Enjoy your day!
