True funny awesome story for our day....while canning some plum apple jam this morning we were showing our neighbor some of our other canned goods...and Paul asks me whats this....some purple stuff in a jar...I say I think its some plums from Jessie, n Blaine back from yrs ago...he says...well the top is popped (so its not sealed and could go bad)...and we both think it looks fine so we decide to open it and check it out....GUESS WHAT IT WAS.....last yr we made a bunch of pomegranate stuff....jelly, molasses, wine etc...well I had an extra jar of pom juice that I had put in a canning jar with lid etc on tight---accidentally put in the cupboard and forgot about it...it is now an amazing wine...since the top was popped it allowed the natural good yeast to ferment and pressure to escape out and no bad stuff got in....almost a year later...what a nice surprise!!...we only have one actual bottle of pom wine left and it is so good...happy Saturday!!! LOL ...we mead Egyptian wine!
