True men and women of God conduct themselves in a holy, or set-apart manner. For God says be holy, as I am holy. The true and living God YHWH is holy, or set-apart from all others called gods, or mighty ones, as he is the one that created all things, and sustains all things. Those who are set-apart, as God is, do not go with the crowd and do the things which the world deems as normal. As it is written in Gods word, love not the world, neither the things in it. If any one loves the world, the love of the Father is not in them. With that said, how do the people of the world conduct themselves on what is called the weekend? Furthermore, why does much of the world consider Friday through Sunday as the weekend, even though Saturday clearly ends the week, and Sunday begins the week, as shown on the calendar? God has said the 7th day ends the week. And on the 7th day, we are to rest, and cease from work, just as God did when he created this world in 6 days. Not only are we to rest, but we are to give others rest. Are the people of the world following Gods plain commandment by going out clubbing, partying, eating, drinking etc. Do the aforementioned things require the service of another when one engages in such activities? The world clearly has no concern with what God has said, and they do not have the love of the Father. Those who love God keep his commandments, and are set-apart from the world. These same will not be out on Friday night doing the things the world does, but instead be home resting, with God on their minds, and in their spirit, keep the Sabbath set-apart in accordance with the commandment.
