True story: 10 years ago I said I would absolutely NEVER own a mini-van. Ever. My sweet, wise sister-in-law, Elisabeth Brewer Kraska, confronted my closed minded snobbery and convinced me to at least test drive one because a minivan is smart. She was right. One test drive and that Honda Odyssey was ours. And it was truly one of the best decisions Paul and I could make for our family. Eight years later I said I would NEVER work with a direct sales company. Ever. Sales were not my thing. But then a Sr VP at Bank of America, Jen Smith Parrish, told me to take a look at Rodan + Fields because this company is smart, so different. So once again, thinking it wouldnt hurt to just take a look, I put my preconceptions aside and took a good, hard look at this company. And one five-minute enrollment later, this business was ours. And it truly was the best decision Paul and I could EVER make for our family. And because of that decision, two years later we retired the mini-van. Rodan + Fields just gave us a sweet new ride...for free. Yes, I am blown away, humbled, grateful, and I think Im in love.... :) Moral of the story: a closed mind closes doors. An open mind opens them. And it can even open the door to a pearl white Lexus GX. 😉 Who knew? But you know what? The story doesnt end there. A story that is all about me isnt one I want to share. We have business partners coming right behind us, earning their own Lexus, and honestly, thats even more rewarding.
