True story! Today Teneyah and I were talking about the service Pastor Rick gave yesterday on money. He told them during service that he, Pastor Rick at Saddleback Church has never received a paycheck from Saddleback. His money comes in from other things he does, books, speaking engagements, etc. In particular we were talking about tithing. I told her it has always been said that when you tithe, God gives the money back to and generally very quickly. So during the conversation, I felt guilty as I have not been tithing the way I should so I promptly went to the Saddleback website. I had to get my car smogged and the check engine light has been on for about 8 months due to an air hose that I cannot locate for my 1988 Toyota Supra. No telling how much it will cost. This is an automatic fail and means I could not get my registration renewed. As I am driving to the Smog Test Center, the light does not come on. The car passed smog and the light did not come on the entire time it was being tested. I get in my car and as soon as I turned it on, the check engine light came back on. Two things here, I felt my money came right back to me. I also found it as proof, the Check Engine light being on does not mean the car should automatically fail a Smog Check!
