True story...someone whose name I wont mention but whose initials are Aurelia Holland Williams, was on her way upstairs. I simply asked, hey can you pop me some popcorn. I have an air popper I use all the time. She says, I dont know how. So, I say you can cook a gourmet meal, but cant pop popcorn. I guess she agreed with this logic and much to my shi grind, she goes upstairs and like the mad scientist starts to tackle popcorn popper 101. I had no idea what was happening upstairs. A few minutes later I hear the smoke detector going off. At first I dont get up thinking it was a mistake but after it continues, I decide to go and make sure someone doesnt turn out to be crispy conspirator. What I see when I get there is unbelievable. I ask are you ok. And then I ask, what is the crisco for. Can you say, hot mess.
