True story: this morning after working the night shift- I stopped - TopicsExpress

True story: this morning after working the night shift- I stopped by our home under construction to water plants- I managed to not only lock all my keys in the house but my phone in the car!! Did some door knocking at the neighbors I have met- no answer- played around in the front yard for an hour before this sweet little lady with a harsh Russian accent walked by with her little poodle ( meanwhile my dog is waiting at our condo for me to come home) - she stopped to say hi I told her my situation- she walked all the way back to wherever she lived and returned 1/2 hour later totally out of breath with her husbands cell phone- she said she did not know how to use it-- but if I did, I could call my family. Now ask me any given day what Brian Gould or Tiffany Suedbeck-Sanchelli cell numbers are and Im clueless- speed dial- I took a good guess at Brians - knowing he doesnt answer unfamiliar numbers- BUT... I got the number right and he answered. He wasnt happy with the situation- I thanked the sweet little lady and she said NO, THANK YOU and gave ME a hug- then continued to tell me that 2 of her grand daughter are also RNS and thanked me in general for all that Nurses endure! Guess my scrubs and name tag gave me away- what a Great feeling- even though I got chewed out by Brian when he came to my rescue. But then again as a Nurse Im use to that!
