True success comes with a balance. Do you value the relationships in your life? Relationships are more important than achievements. I believe it is very important that you take your family seriously. This is because whatever you achieve in life, if something goes wrong with your family, it takes a whole lot away from what you have achieved. The family is the place where our character is tested and our weaknesses discovered. The people closest to you will see the way you are and easily steer you towards the right direction. Some people spend so much time at work and forget that their families need quality time. They replace quality time with toys for their children and gifts for their spouse if there is any complain. But gifts cannot substitute for love, affection, attention or care. You need to put our family on the priority list. I sense that the spiritual, emotional, and psychological investments we make into them count far more than buying toys or gifts for them.
