True there is a problem nationally where we see injustice across this great country. African Americans have been killed by security guards and cops...that were never punished for the murder...its sad and its tragic. However, there is a catastrophic attack on African Americans everyday by other African Americans and until we start loving and respecting each other Aint Nobody Else going to love or respect who we are as a people! 13 short months ago our Son Swear To Flag My was gunned down right here in Atlanta by the same black man that has his arm around his neck on his FB profile picture. There was no marching no protesting as a community except for the few clergy who stood with us to protest on Fulton County Courthouse steps when a Black judge gave two of the defendants bond for murdering our son. Now I get that these issues are not one and the same but in a way they are connected. Until there is an outcry corporately when we kill each other we cant expect any true change to come. During the civil rights movement our people were together they loved each other, shared in each others suffering and until that LOVE returns back to us as a people every March, Protest and Boycott is a vain and futile effort on our part. We must return to loving each other, respecting our elders, respecting our women, respecting each other and through that corporate respect, protection will become automatic as we now become self-empowered as a people that are ride or die for each other and not a cause.
