Truly Life Nothing worse than placing your hope in something that is uncertain. God has promised us an inheritance that can never perish, spoil or fade and its kept in heaven for all who invest in the absolute certainty of eternal causes. God gives and blesses His people, not so they will increase their way of living but so they will increase their way of giving. Its that simple, when God gives to you He expects you to give to others. If you keep for yourself you become a hoarder for self and not a generous giving for others. Keeping for self becomes like a corrosion that testifies against you and eats away at you flesh like fire. (James 5) To grab hold of true life, you must let go of self life. Respond rightly keeps you from living a self indulgent life that encourages less care for others and more care for self. Invest in the eternal and be rich in good deeds, always giving cause your truly living. Tell those rich in this world’s wealth to quit being so full of themselves and so obsessed with money, which is here today and gone tomorrow. Tell them to go after God, who piles on all the riches we could ever manage—to do good, to be rich in helping others, to be extravagantly generous. If they do that, they’ll build a treasury that will last, gaining life that is truly life.(1 Timothy 6:17-19 MSG) True living is helping others while being radically generous!
