Truly before the end of 2014, it was prophesied and I can testify from my own life that God is Washing Away Sins. We are to enter into 2015 cleansed without blemish as painful, sobering or humiliating as it might appear. Zechariah 13vs 1-9: On the Big Day, a fountain will be opened for the family of David and all the leaders of Jerusalem for washing away their sins, for scrubbing their stained and soiled lives clean. On the Big Day—this is God-of-the-Angel-Armies speaking—I will wipe out the store-bought gods, erase their names from memory. People will forget they ever heard of them. And Ill get rid of the prophets who polluted the air with their diseased words. If anyone dares persist in spreading diseased, polluting words, his very own parents will step in and say, Thats it! Youre finished! Your lies about God put everyone in danger, and then theyll stab him to death in the very act of prophesying lies about God—his own parents, mind you! On the Big Day, the lying prophets will be publicly exposed and humiliated. Then theyll wish theyd never swindled people with their visions. No more masquerading in prophet clothes. But theyll deny theyve even heard of such things: Me, a prophet? Not me. Im a farmer—grew up on the farm. And if someone says, And so where did you get that black eye? theyll say, I ran into a door at a friends house. Sword, get moving against my shepherd, against my close associate! Decree of God-of-the-Angel-Armies. Kill the shepherd! Scatter the sheep! The back of my hand against even the lambs! All across the country—Gods Decree— two-thirds will be devastated and one-third survive. Ill deliver the surviving third to the refinery fires. Ill refine them as silver is refined, test them for purity as gold is tested. Then theyll pray to me by name and Ill answer them personally. Ill say, Thats my people. Theyll say, God—my God! We therefore should simply not fall asleep at the wheel of life as 2014 draws to an end but engage in repentance and prayer lest Jesus should find us asleep as evident in Matthew 26:40-41; When he came back to his disciples, he found them sound asleep. He said to Peter, Cant you stick it out with me a single hour? Stay alert; be in prayer so you dont wander into temptation without even knowing youre in danger. There is a part of you that is eager, ready for anything in God. But theres another part thats as lazy as an old dog sleeping by the fire.
