Truly terrific and what any sane , smart , and Read just a LIIttle History American has been thinking for thirty yrs ...right up until he gets going on describing an America that was . Problem. It was NEVER LIKE THAT . EVER . It wasnt even ;like that when I was a little kid in the Sixties . The AMERICA THIS FICTIONAL CHARACTER DESCRIBES NEVER EXISTED. FROM THE MINUTE WE CAMe INTO EXISTENCE AS THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA we did HORRIFICALLY CRUEL GENOCIDAL AND STUPID SHIT for EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THE WRONG REASONS . WE HAD MOMETS , SURE , AND REASONS TO BE ADMIRED AND IMITATED , SURE , BUT IS THAT THE SAME THING AS THE ROSARY OF PERFECTION THIS CHARACTER READS OFF ? No. Nope . And as someone who always HAS loved , loves now and WILL always love this country beyond reason it really does drive me nuts , break my heart , and add to my complete loss of faith that we can ever fix this disaster to see that not even in fiction can we get it right. Never mind in real life, you can forget about THAT . Shit. Good actor though . Maybe I AM moving to Italy . Just to deal with slightly DIFFERENT set of problems you understand . a
