Trumbull County Children Services Peer of the Year – Julian Walker Julian is a lifelong resident of Northeast Ohio, a native of Warren, and a 1995 Graduate of Warren G. Harding High School. He has been working with disadvantaged families and youth since 2002. In 2005 Julian graduated from Youngstown State University with a Bachelor’s in Sociology and Africana Studies. This degree along with the experience he brings to TCCSB from Summit County DJFS and Cuyahoga County Department of Children & Family Services gives a unique perspective to the issues facing our families. Julian has been married to his wife for over ten years and they have 2 wonderful & energetic children. His passion for people and their well being has led him to continue his education at Liberty University where he is enrolled in their Counseling Program. However, with all of this on his plate he still finds time to serve as a minister at his church, Restoration Christian Fellowship and coach youth soccer.
