Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6) Life is full of circumstances and situations that we seek to understand and figure out. We often find ourselves saying I just dont understand this or I dont know why God allows this or whatever the case may be. When we seek to figure everything out and reason everything out in our carnal minds we find ourselves frustrated and sometimes even questioning God. I have learned that there are some things in life that God never intended for us to understand or comprehend and that we have to learn to trust in God and not look to our own understanding, but just keep our eyes fixed on Him and He will direct our steps. Our carnal minds are enmity against God and when we constantly seek to have an answer to every situation or circumstance in our life, we are relying on human reasoning and we are not trusting God. We see through a glass darkly in this present world and we will not understand everything until we see Jesus. Sometimes the only answer God will give us concerning situations in our life is My grace is sufficient and that should be enough for us. Gods ways are above our ways and His thoughts are above our thoughts and as finite beings, we cannot possibly understand everything about an infinite God and why he allows certain things. Learn to trust in the Lord with all your heart and dont lean on your own understanding because youre not going to understand or figure it all out anyways...you werent meant to :) Have faith in God and just trust Him and He will always lead you in the right direction.
