Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the Lord and depart from evil. PROVERBS 3:5-7 NOTE: Solomon ties TRUSTING with PATHS, and then being WISE in our own eyes, with FEAR to depart from EVIL. The Hebraic concept of PATH and EVIL is directly attached to the Ten Commandments... yet, there is NO FEAR, in general, in modern day Christianity because of wisdom in our own eyes of theology tied to misunderstanding grace and heaven. 1) HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME -- do NOT practice these pagan holidays (Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Valentines Day, etc) 2) DO NOT MAKE ANY IDOLS -- do not be caught w the golden calf, as what they did is an example of what will happen to us (1 Corinthians 10:6-7) 3) DO NOT TAKE MY NAME IN VAIN -- be holy as I am holy, do not profane My Name by mixing My Name among the pagan pracices. 4) KEEP MY SABBATH HOLY -- come out of Babylon which you were born and do NOT do the Babylonian celebrations. KEEP My Sabbath day holy (set apart) and Inherit My Kingdom on the Holy hill in Mt Zion, the HERITAGE of our father Jacob - (Isaiah 56:6-8/Isaiah 58:13-14). Brothers and sisters, THIS IS WHY JESUS states the ESSENCE of ETERNAL LIFE to KNOWING THE FATHER and THE SON... And THIS IS ETERNAL LIFE that they may KNOW You, THE ONLY TRUE GOD (THIS IS THE FATHER), AND Jesus Christ whom You have sent. JOHN 17:3 With a cursory review of these first four Commandments, assuming the warnings in the New Testament are directly pointing to what happened to children of Israel, and that the entire COVENANT (10 Commandments) were placed on a born again heart as THE FATHER was sharing HIS WAYS with you, a humble heart MUST research if they truly know the Father. You may know the Son, but do you KNOW the Father. Reread those Commandments. I know I didnt until I examined them closely. Somehow the Jesus of modern day Christianity allows us to live a different standard than the one He lived, keeping His Fathers commandments. Read those first four commandments and think would Jesus have lived opposite of them? Then think would Jesus go along with our religious traditions of the pagan holidays? PLEASE now think WHY AM I DOING THEM? Could this be the WIDE ROAD many are on that are told I never knew you (because you didnt know My Father) and away from Me you who practice LAWLESSNESS (You broke My Fathers Laws)? MATTHEW 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Maybe you just dont know about what Satan did to counterfeit the Fathers instructions to have the WORLD celebrate the demons of these festivals. Thats fair and completely understandable. Well, you know now. Dont you think you should look into them?
