Trust in who God has made you, in Him. Sometimes who you are doesnt fit with who others want you to be. Humility must always be the first internal check. If the conscience is clear. Then dont allow small minded people to belittled, strongarm or apply social isolation tactics. Keep your heart centered in Christ. Even if it flushes out there hidden agendas, prideful egos, control & manipulation. Then stay kind, firm & clear. Christ is the only one that contains your assignment in detail & can mold your heart to His. You have been given access to obtain grace & mercy in your time of need. So have boldness & enter into Christ presence & watch Him do what others can only claim they can do by playing games with your soul. Good, Godly mentors are priceless.
