Trust me, there is nothing so precious to a older person than your time. They are not looking for fancy gifts or a gift of money, they are looking for your company and companionship. Too many of the seniors who come to the Johnstown Senior Center do not come because they happen to especially enjoy the event that was going on, all to often you hear them say, It was better than sitting home alone. I have learn so much from the beautiful people I have had the extreme joy to befriend at the senior center. To hear their history, it is truly amazing. And to my Mom, I so dearly treasure every day we have together.
