Trusting God. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (Matthew 22:37) When we become followers of God, we should trust Him in all areas of our life. Our faith should give us confidence and hope that everything will work together for good. Salvation The most important way to trust God is to rely on Him for our salvation. We have all done wrong, but God sent his Son to die for us and take our punishment. By asking for forgiveness, and trusting God to save us, we will become the adopted children of God. This is the greatest and most overwhelming promise, and will revolutionise how we think and act. Righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. (Romans 3:22-25) Daily life When we accept God as our Father we can rely on Him to help us in all aspects of our life. We can ask Him to help us and guide us, and be assured that he will do what is best for us "Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." (Mark 11:22-24).
