Truth Hebrews 4:12 John 15:11-12 12 For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. 11 “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full. 12 This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. The word of God is sharper than any two edged sword. This scripture tells the truth, but often in our zeal to proclaim God’s word we erringly use this sword on our own brothers to fulfill personal misguided desires. Anytime we use God’s word absent of his love, we are far more culpable than those we decry. If when we share God’s word we feel like we are somehow vindicating ourselves, then we must revisit our own motives. Do we under the guise of sharing actually satisfy our own flesh or are we truly sharing God’s love, which is the commandment of Christ and has not one iota of condemnation?
