Truth. Only true murderers love war, the rest of the soldiers are just doing their job ~ and Im not saying they are not ever heros, but being a hero is not any fun for the one doing the work most of the time, I dont think, and maybe that looks glorious to the rest of us, when we are telling a story around a campfire or reading about it from our armchairs or some other comfortable perspective ~ but its not something I would ever, ever wish on someone else. The human species would be much better off if we were more able to recognize the heroics of our Peace Warriors and our Organic Gardeners and our Teachers, Wise People and Mothers+Fathers ~ when we can do that then our children might finally be safe ~R
