Truth: The Double-Edged Sword A spirit of Accusation will - TopicsExpress

Truth: The Double-Edged Sword A spirit of Accusation will manipulate the truth to use it as a weapon. God couples truth with mercy and uses it to serve in love. Psalm 85:10 Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other. The enemy will use the truth to accuse, belittle and condemn. What does this look like? Perhaps we, or someone we love, is struggling with an addiction. A spirit of Accusation can come in through the person themself, or from someone else to beat up, condemn or separate them from others and God. On the other hand, that same truth can be used in love. If someone is struggling with an addiction, truth can be used to serve them in wisdom. With wisdom, we will know how to love them where they are at in their journey and come along side them to help them overcome. This same principle will also help us to be free to love ourself and overcome the enemy. This can be applied in any situation. Lets ask God to show us how we are using truth. Are we allowing the enemy to use us to accuse and condemn others or ourself with it? Lets ask God to help us use truth in wisdom, coupled with mercy, so we can love ourself and others and serve more effectively. AMEN
