Truth Without Sugar Ephesians 5:15-17…be careful how you “walk” does it really mean watch your step, as in your stride? Or is it meaning your “Christian walk?” The bible says that “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path” (Psalm 119:105). This means simply that we should only be looking within the light of that lamp that God has given us. I don’t have the same light as someone else, we are all individuals and God works with us all in different ways. BUT We need to walk as wise men and women, walk as children of the Light, we are to walk counter to the ways of the world. By doing this we will make the most of every moment and of every day because we are focused on the things of the Lord. What would it look like for you to make the most of your day for the Lord? Would it be more prayer, more compassion towards others, would it be helping that elderly person who needs your help, would it be listening to another as they go through their grief? I have said before “Do you want to know the purpose of life?” then you need to understand the will of the Father. At the heart of this question is the will of the Father and His will is that all men would be saved and that none would perish. Who has the Lord placed in your life? Now let me stop you in your thinking right here. If God – (follow my thought here) - wanted you to help your friends you would know everybody. I am asking you - who has God placed in your life at 6:30 AM, who has God placed in your life at 11:43 AM, who has God placed in your life at 5:57 PM? - What about that woman in the car next to you who is crying. Do you even slow down your pace enough, during the day, to see these people that God has placed before you at these times during the day? This, is making the most of your day my friends. Therefore, don’t be foolish understand the will of the Father. So how will you be walking tomorrow? Your friends don’t need to be saved by you they know who you are. The ones who really need to be saved are the ones you don’t know - because if we all did this your friends would be saved. Think about that one for a while. Like · · Promote · Share
