Truth is whatever FEELS right for you. There is no real right or wrong, just whatever you personally FEEL is best for you. We all have our own truth. Notice the focus of these statements...YOU. If I determine what is truth, that makes me the supreme authority on all things, and makes me into a god. That, my friends, is idolatry. We must repent of this thinking, that we are gods. We are to have no other gods before the One True God, who is the Creator, Designer and Authority on all things. If I get to decide what is right and wrong based upon my own feelings, Im a fool. That is not Truth, but an opinion. Everyone has opinions on every subject, but that does not make our opinion to be Truth. This is called relativism. As ridiculous as it may seem, many people embrace relativism, because it gives them license to act any way they want. This type of wishy-washy thinking is absurd and a horrible way to live your life. This way of life only leads to destruction and eternal damnation. You have no standards and no convictions. Truth is an absolute standard by which all other things are judged. Truth does not change. Truth is solid and stable. Truth can always be relied upon to remain the same. Unlike opinions, Truth does not change with every wind. Truth is not based upon every whim or fancy, but on the Word of God, the Supreme Authority. We will have to stand before a Righteous Judge to give an account of our lives. We will not be judged according to our own relative standard of truth. We will not be judge according to our own feelings of goodness as we determine goodness to be. We will be judged based upon the absolute standard of Gods Word. That is why God gave us a written contract that spells out the standard of righteousness. God put it in writing so that we have no excuse on Judgment Day. Do you live according to your own standard? Do you live according to what is right in your own eyes? Or do you live according to Gods absolute standard of Truth? God has given us an open Book exam. Will you pass on Judgment Day? If not, you can change that right now. Repent. Change your mind and determine to live according to the Standard by which you will be judged. Trust only in Jesus and you shall be saved and have eternal life. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life. He came so that you would not have to be condemned and to perish, but that you might, through Him, be saved from eternal damnation. He came to give you life eternal.
