Try adding a quick high intensity cardio interval immediately after your strength exercise to increase your fat burn during your workout. Only 20-30 seconds are necessary, but make it 100% effort. Example- After your set of dumbell chest presses, add an interval of high knees for 20 secs. Rest 60 - 90 seconds and then go in for your second set of chest presses.
