This in simpler terms means that there is an increased resistance at the end range of motion, whilst accommodation for joint angles through ROM (range of motion). At the top of the movement, there is the greatest load (all the chain links are off the floor)- providing adequate stimulus throughout the entire movement. It assists inter muscular coordination allowing stabilizers, neutralizers, agonists, and antagonists to work together. The CNS activates to handle the greater load, recruits the use of more muscle fibers and forces the lifter to engage the core more tightly.
