Trying SO hard not to get frustrated with everything right now. (Oncology clinic at Cooks) We were stuck in traffic this morning so I called the clinic to let them know we would be a few minutes late. They informed me that Devins appointment had been changed from 9 to 10:30, but no one had bothered to call and let me know. Then they informed me she would not be seeing her Oncologist, she would be seeing one of the nurse practioners. Usually I wouldnt have a problem with this except it just happens to be the NP that I dont care for because she just shrugs everything off. NEWSFLASH lady, Devins issues might not be LIFE threatening to YOU, but she just happens to be MISERABLE so a little compassion would be a good thing!!! UGH! I dont know if this is all just getting to me and I am over reacting to everything , but Im beginning to lose faith in some of these people. I just dont feel they properly prepared us for anything, they sugar coated EVERYTHING. Now that so much has gone wrong it has us in a constant state of panic. Not only that, but are they doing everything that can be done for Devin? LORD please give me some direction before my head explodes!!
