Trying not to turn this into the Persona Quest Forum but here you go Persona Quests- The Basics. The Persona quest is designed to bring more role playing and more character interaction into Amtgard Battle games. They include a variety of elements that allow for non-combat interaction. The Quest Master- The Quest master is the player’s eyes and ears in the non-combat portions of the game. Aside from narrating the experience the Quest masters helps players resolve quest based situations and gain extra information via their Persona Skills and traits. Questmaster need to be reeve certified. Scenes Scenes are played out via volunteers. The Questmaster starts a scene is happening it plays out and the Players may interact with the in the scene. Some scenes may end in combat. Battles Battles are set up for specific parts of a quest . they may be in a particular area or be a wandering attack. The Questmaster declares a battle starting and when it ends. Players Players participate in the Quest and have access to either their Look the part Class or Monster abilities. All Players have one life. If they are killed they may leave the game or join it as an opponent in a battle or actor for a scene. Players may be resurrected (Or equivalent) by a player but a Healer is only allowed one resurrection a Quest per two levels in a class. Loot Players can collect loot in a game. Loot is represented by Slap Bracelets and becomes part of that characters equipment until used. Such things as one use potions and Quest game only items will represent the bulk of the loot. Party Very Important. Because of the complexity of the Quests Players will be divided into parties. Players must register their Party before the Quest cycle (All Quests for that Story line) . A Party must have at last 6 members and no more than 10. They can be any level and it’s up to the Questmaster to tailor Battles based on Part ability. A player can only switch their Party during a Quest cycle if their Party lacks 6 members or the Quest requires them to do so.
