Trying so hard to wake up. I spent most of the night in the ER with my BFF Danielle, I cant even begin to describe how scared I was for her yesterday. When the doc says get to the ER right now, I think you have a blood clot...You go! Thank goodness for all of the prayers sent her way, no blood clot was found. I can only imagine the pain she is in, she broke her foot literally in half when she fell down the stairs two weeks ago. Her husband Mike is in Afghanistan...Yes, the military is still there and they are still in a very hostile environment. Its so aggravating when you tell someone that your best friends husband is in Afghanistan and they respond I thought we pulled our troops out of there already. Obama and his media cronies are doing a great job at desensitizing our country. It pisses me off. I will bend over backwards to help any of my friends in need. Danielle is in need of prayers and well-wishes. She has had a very rough few weeks and is facing several more months of no driving, surgeries, pain, dependency on others for her care and the care of her family, and last but not least, continuous worry and concern for her husbands safety in a combat zone with the infantry. Please, please stop and take a moment to think of Danielle and the other spouses and families who live through their days worrying about their loved ones overseas. Its a life we choose as military spouses, but no one said it was easy.
