Trying to bridge differences between people while trying to - TopicsExpress

Trying to bridge differences between people while trying to maintain a scientific rational to solving problems requires putting emotional attachments to preconceived ideologies aside and having uncomfortable or politically incorrect discussions to open up dialogue and further understanding around core issues. You can disagree with a woman without being a misogynist, you can disagree with a gay man without being a homophobe. While such labels have a certain degree of relevance be aware of the context they are used, are they being used as a dismissive label to disregard logical arguments or are they being used appropriately? While a person who believes women should not be allowed to vote or work could be considered a bigot so to are the people that accuse people of being misogynists for having rational counter arguments to gender issues that may not subscribe to common, politically accepted feminist ideology. The same could be said for people who disregard everything Stefan Molyneux says because of his opposing views to The Zeitgeist Movement. youtu.be/AnbR_j12JXk?t=1h42m20s
