Trying to do Halloween on a budget? Or perhaps you just dont have the time to plan but you still want to take part in the festivities. Well here are two looks that you can throw together using pieces of your existing wardrobe and some makeup. Both the Grecian goddess look and the Cleopatra look can be pulled off with a simple white maxi dress, gladiator sandals and some gold accessories (bangles would be great!). Pull the overall look together with the right makeup. The Greek goddess calls for something light and ethereal- golds, silvers, and pastels on your eyes, heavy blush, glossy lips and tons of shimmer! Braided headbands or leaf or flower crown and spray paint it gold and that will finish your look perfectly. For Cleopatra you pretty much want to do the opposite. The heavier the makeup the better. Square off your eyebrows with eyeliner and paint them in with a severe arch. Use turquoise and gold eyeshadow and the blackest eyeliner you can find extended out from your eyes. Under your eye you can experiment with other ancient egyptian looking designs to put your own spin on classic Cleo liner. Use bronzer instead of blush for a harsher look and gold lipstick (I actually just used a gold eyeliner pencil). You can pick up a beaded headpiece or snake headband or if your truly a thrifty diva like I am explore your jewelry box, pick out that funky gold statement necklace that you havent worn in forever and bobby pin it into your hair. Voilà! Two different looks that can totally hold their own at a costume party, that you can throw together at home.
