Trying to explain what I witnessed tonight. As all of those people poured in to pay their respects, to bid goodbye to a wonderful young man. What stands out to me the most out of sadness, heartbreak, questioning eyes asking why...none of that stuck in my heart after we all left. What made a lasting impression on me was as each young friend of Nicks reached to embrace another friend, you could see the love for each other in their eyes. When they each hugged me and held on I could feel that same love. As I watched them all, I could see their loyalty for each other regardless of their lives all taking different directions over the years. The group of kids I know well that when it came right down to it they would be there for each other no matter what. I saw beautiful friendship that I know they will hang on to forever. It was a sad time but my heart felt good to see them be there for each other. I love all of them. RIP Nick and know how much they all love you.
