Trying to get WALK WITH BRIT ON RT 66-DIMINISH THE RISK solidified. I plan to start the 100+ mile walk near 65th and Mingo in Tulsa (near apartment and loop over to where Rt 66 is near the highway in Tulsa. I plan to follow Rt 66 to and through Sapulpa to Bristow, Stroud, Chandler, Welston, Luther all the way to Edmund. I think Rt 66 loops west around the city so Id like to take Lincoln or some direct road down to the Capitol reaching there mid day on 10/15. I am hoping to have my car driving behind me (see picture) because it is my moving billboard. I hope to do about 20 miles a day. NEEDS (1) People to drive car behind me (2) Someone to organize a few stops on the way for people to gather so can discuss DNA issue (3) Contact various PDs , Sherrifs, for rules/regs to do this (4) Someone to devise a possible pledge process for the miles (5) Help promoting the event from creation of posters to distributing. Granted I will find a way to do this on my own but help would bring never ending gratitude and some way that I can reward volunteers. Email therapoet@aol if you can help
