Trying to make sense of things in Furgeson. I have so many friends who fall on both sides of this nation wide disagreement. I find myself afraid to post anything at all for fear of hurting someone I love. How is it that godly people who love Jesus, the Bible and humanity be so far from each other on a story like this. Im seeing quotes that would qualify brothers as enemies on this... There are several things I dont understand. Praying for all of those involved and those so heavily affected by it. I love my police officer friends who see tonight as a victory of truth and law. I love from urban pastor friends who see tonight as a devaluing of young black mens lives. I really think that if the specific men Im thinking about could sit down over a meal and discuss, they wouldnt be so far away from one another... Lets not allow Satan to cause us to distrust and hate one another. Let us love one another.
