Trying to sell my car - 2002 Pontiac Grand Am - Black with dark gray interior (garage kept) replaced REMOTE START in 2013 - mostly Highway miles and huge trunk - two owner (my aunt and I) and dealer maintained My aunt bought this car new and I bought from her July 2013. My side jobs requirement of vehicle 2000 or newer changed to must be within 10 yrs old so I had to get a newer car and sell this one. I had planned on keeping it indefinitely so it has new brakes, tires, battery and remote start ;-) She is truly roadworthy!! When I bought the car from my aunt it would shut down while driving and make you wait an hour and half to restart - so I got it cheap but then spent 4k replacing BCM, PCM, new remote start and battery and ended up finding in the end that it was caused by some $200 sensor (I forget the name but can show paperwork for all repairs) Once I got her running again (last September) - she runs like a champ! I also did new brakes / rotors etc in 2014. (2 new tires in Jan and then 2 more in September since they needed it and found the suspension problem (rattle / squeak) I was noticing was cheap fix (sway links) so I did that too. Also, want you to know, my aunt had the bottom of inside doors repainted cuz they were starting to rust in 2012 and an alignment before I got it so she looked like new again..... (my grandpa - her dad was a mechanic so we are both faithful to do our every 3k miles oil changes) A/C is ice cold and heat is hot - title is clean - Kelly Blue book says $2831 not counting the glass packs and remote start ($600 value) - then the car fax report says because it is 2 owner, dealer maintained with zero accidents I could ask $1030 above book for it. So $2950 is a firm price. Also, FYI My aunt installed glasspacks which sound great (low rumble - not loud - just tough sounding ;-) and they give it more get up n go but they cut the catalytic converter off when they installed the glass packs so currently the car will not pass emissions. (and check engine light stays on) - I live in Walworth county so its not a big deal for me but if you live where it is law to pass emissions - then plan on $250 to fix.... (per American Muffler in Burlington) You can call, text, or email (email may get buried and go unnoticed) Im technically in Spring Prairie which is Burlington address and Elkhorn schools and within 5 miles of 4 towns: Burlington, Lake Geneva, East Troy and Elkhorn - I am very close to Shavers gas station corner of hwy 120 and hwy 11....
