“Tubular Bells” was released on (Mike’s 20th birthday) May 25th, 1973. The very first album for Virgin Records. This was a momentous occasion for Mike has he started this album when he was 17 years old. Many people didnt believe in the album during the pre-planning. Some laughed at the idea of an instrumental album that would have elements of rock, pop, folk music. But to this day, it remains in the top 100 best rock albums ever released and it has sold millions all over the world.
